The Challenge
Our client decided to transform its existing SAP infrastructure to AWS cloud due the following challenges they faced:
- Our client did not have a standard Disaster Recovery strategy on premise
- The performance of their existing business applications was slow
- Faced difficulty in managing high Capex and Opex
- Along with the above, their contractual agreement was going to end with host provider
The Solution
Healthcare Triangle Inc. (HCTI) experts conducted a detailed assessment to prepare migration strategy and following are the highlights of the solution.
- An application discovery for every application was performed as per the pilot selection criteria and archiving of unnecessary data before migration was suggested
- The migration program was then divided into waves to minimize risk and to reduce the disturbance to ongoing business operations. Each wave will have a group of tightly coupled systems with:

- Wave 2 focusing on business critical and financial impact on business units
