Practice Director

Laurie Isaacson is the Practice Director for Healthcare Professional Services, overseeing consulting services related to the MEDITECH EHR for various clients, ranging from critical access to provider practices to large integrated healthcare networks. Her responsibilities include personnel allocation, budget management, and resource planning. Her responsibilities encompass leading a team that delivers a range of consulting services, including assessment and project planning, implementation, optimization, upgrades, updates, training, go-live support, and managed services.

With over 35 years of healthcare experience, Laurie started her career as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Manager at a community hospital. She later transitioned to become the Manager of Clinical Informatics, holding the role for 10 years. For the past decade, she has been working with Healthcare Triangle, taking on roles such as clinical Subject Matter Expert, Implementation Lead, Project Manager, and Executive Sponsor. Laurie's approach is result-focused, aiming to form strong partnerships with clients to ensure their success. Her goal is to help clients leverage their EHR to benefit patient care, support department operations, optimize revenue capture, and enhance overall care quality.

Her educational achievements include a BSN from the University of Connecticut and a Masters in Healthcare Leadership and Healthcare Informatics from The University of Denver. Laurie values continuous learning both through formal education and life experiences. On a personal note, Laurie takes pride in being a mother to three adult children. She enjoys traveling and reading, especially during long plane rides, which provide dedicated reading time. She firmly believes in the power of human connection and the healing effects of a hug.
