Ryan M. Sommers is a senior healthcare leader with 20 years of experience advising and directing IT & EHR-related pursuits to maximize business operations. He has spent most of his career working with organizations to solve complex problems or assist in the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of Epic-centric technology ecosystems.

Prior to Healthcare Triangle, Ryan worked to innovate and grow the healthcare IT consulting segments for small and large firms (Sagacious, Wilshire Group, Accenture). His expansive industry knowledge and subject matter expertise frequently find him strategizing and leading work for EHR system selections & TCOs, clinician efficiency & EHR automation, Epic product portfolios & Community Connect programs, and digital technology roadmaps.

As the Vice President of Client Success, Ryan leads HCTI’s delivery organization and is responsible for the success of their healthcare client base, ensuring collaboration between the executive and IT personnel and ultimately translating strategy into successful execution & outcomes.

Ryan holds an active PMP and Epic application certifications spanning the spectrum, alongside degrees in Mathematics & Psychology from Luther College. He resides in Charleston, South Carolina and enjoys an active community lifestyle focused on tennis, boating, & golf.
